Having studied in Bristol, Fiona joined a London firm where she qualified and worked as a solicitor. She subsequently returned to Swansea , to join the legal department of the former West Glamorgan County Council .
After gaining experience in a number of areas of legal work undertaken by the local authority ,in 1988 Fiona joined Graham Evans and Partners to assist in the Property, Wills and Probate and Family Departments.
Fiona became a member of the Law Society Specialist Children Panel in 1990, pursuing particular interest in public law matters and children law, which continues today.
