Jeff attained the rank of Detective Inspector with South Wales Police, heading the Criminal Investigation Department for the whole of the Swansea area. The the majority of his service was in the Criminal Investigation Department including the Fraud Squad, Complaints and Discipline (now Professional Standards) and Serious Crime Squad, where he travelled extensively throughout the Force area investigating major crime including several murder inquiries. He retired having completed 30 years service in 1997.
Jeff joined Graham Evans & Partners in December of that year initially attached to the Personal Injury Department investigating industrial accidents on behalf of Insurance Company Clients. In August 2002 he moved to work within the Criminal Department as a case investigator.
